Puppies are totally adorable and also a lot of work, but I am sure you and Dexter are up to the task. Congratulations on your new family member. Life certainly won't be boring with that cute bundle of mischief.

    Total cutie!
I read your comment about sleeping in bed with you--I was going to do everything "right" when I got Fillion at 8 weeks. Had a crate right next to the bed even! Hubby picked him up and put him on the bed, and before I knew it he was sleeping curled up between our pillows. That was his spot till he outgrew it and I've never regretted it. I did what was "right" for us--you do the same!

My first dog on my own was a Cocker Spaniel girl I got at 7 weeks. I had none of the stuff I have now and in fact I put her in a big Rubbermaid bin beside the bed! She cried and cried so I picked her up and put her on an old sweatshirt between my husband and I up by the pillows. I woke up every time she had to go out...she was housebroken at 12 weeks and never pee’d on the bed. That was her place to sleep always!
