Free to good home advertisements always make me nervous.

I hope someone on the forum that lives near him can possibly adopt him. My he is a handsome boy.

I emailed them and suggested they may want to contact a Sheltie Rescue and to beware of posting a free ad too many insavory individuals. I also asked if male or female since one of our Md. members said they are looking for a female. I'll post if I hear back from them.

Dawn,

Thank you so much for doing this. I feel much better now about this sheltie's situation.

Oh good! I just e-mailed the NCSR coordinator too. I don't understand why people think it's okay to post an ad like this. I'd hate to see the dog end up in an experimental lab somewhere. Poor dog.

I also contacted the owner of this beautiful sheltie and suggested sheltie rescue and explained the dangers of advertising as free to good home. Hope he contacts rescue.
