I thought I'd pass some info along. I recently received an email from a collie rescue group in the area. They rescued a Sheltie puppy that has PDA, a heart condition. It's treatable but has to be surgically repaired. They are trying to get the funds together to take her to Cornell University. If you are interested or willing in helping they are asking donations that can be earmarked directly to Help the sheltie puppy. If you are willing to help her please send any money(even $1.00) to

    Far Point Collie Rescue
    1035 Red Hill Road
    Port Trevorton, PA 17864

Let them know it's for "Heather's Heart Surgery". They do have their 501 C3, so any donations are tax deductible so save receipts for next years tax man.

I've fostered some Shelties from Yvonne from there. I'll see what I can do.

Just got a reply from Yvonne. She said she was able to raise the funds for Heathers surgery and she'll be seeing a cardiologist in Philly tomorrow. Here's a picture of her.

    Let's hope all goes well.
